Being a charitable community project, we look forward in improving the livelihoods of the entire Gatundu north Sub-County. Our initiative is to help those under privileged and uninsured in accessing this much needed services. Cancer is one of the most under diagnosed disease and lacking much of the attention and only those with medical insurance are able to access this key service. HPV vaccine ought to be FREE but compulsory service to all girls aged 10-12 years, but it’s charged in some facilities and this raises the alarm of how many girls will be vaccinated owing to its cost. We have therefore sat down with the community members after several fundraising events to help the survivors and the victims implicated in this ailment and we have come a long way and sought for the future solution. Our initiative is based on the fact that “ending cancer starts with you”.
Our project being DOOR TO DOOR will ensure NO man /woman is left unscreened for cervical, breast or prostate cancer respectively.
If we get our funds, as we would like in any form then we shall totally eradicate the three commonest killer cancer ailments in our society. It will be very easy to sell this idea to the other county and support our Government in the war against cancer.
It will be the responsibility of the finance officer and the trustees to ensure every coin obtained goes to its intended purpose. We therefore encourage and assure all the donors to be part of this excellent, well-orchestrated project.
